All I want for my birthday...

January 24th is my 25th birthday! Instead of  birthday presents I am asking for donations to PETA! PETA does truly amazing work around the world, and they need our support! Please consider donating to this amazing cause for my birthday! Click here to donate! 

Thanks to my amazing friends and family, I have already collected almost $300 but I would like to reach my goal of $500 by the end of the day tomorrow! 

Because I have the most wonderful friends (Kate, Avz, Ash - that's you!) I  also get to enjoy vegan birthday cake, courtesy of The Greenside Cafe! Fantastic Non-Spill Dog Bowl: The Road Refresher!

Lucy Elizabeth really loves to play in water: the sprinkler, the swimming pool, and her water bowl! 

It's so cute to watch, but it gets very messy! I worry that the dogs will be without water if there is noone home for a few hours, because Lucy has spilled all their water!

2011: The Year of the Rabbit

2011 is the Year of the Rabbit! In honour of rabbits everywhere, here are some resolutions I would like to suggest: 

1. Go Vegan in 2011! Do it for rabbits! Click here to find out more. 
2. Start volunteering at your local animal shelter! If you're in the Sandton area, email Ceri about volunteering at the Sandton SPCA. Alternatively you can contact your local SPCA directly.
3. Donate to the Sandton SPCA online.  
4. Join PETA! 
5. Email me to join our activist database. You will be updated on upcoming protests and animal rights events. 
6. Join Fur Free SA! 
7. Recycle! You can do so with the help of Whole Earth Recycling. 
8. Switch to products that are not tested on animals. You can get a list of cruelty-free products from Beauty Without Cruelty or PETA!
